Project Description
Serving as the cost consultant on SmithGroup’s IDIQ contract for the A-E Design and Related Services, APR has been retained to provide independent cost estimates for renovation and construction projects at NARA’s nationwide facilities. To date, APR has been issued task orders at five NARA facilities, including the following projects:
- Reagan Library HVAC Modifications 90% DD Estimate w/Upcoming at 100% DD. Includes existing condition assessment, roof work, sprinkler system, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
- Nixon Library & Museum Roof Repair 95% & 100% Design Set Review Estimate. Includes condition assessment; wood, plastic and composite work; thermal and moisture protection; leak repair; 50% contingency for damaged area.
- Hoover Library Replace 2 AHU’s 30% Concept Estimate, w/upcoming at 90% & 100%. Includes the removal of two AHU units and electrical demolition, repair of mechanical areas with tough up, and a 3,000 SF mat to cover surrounding areas plus grass repair after the mat is removed.
- Gerald Ford Museum HVAC & Boiler Replacement 30% Review Set Estimate, w/upcoming at 90% & 100%. Includes removal of two door units and replacement with rated units, existing conditions, interior work, plumbing, the HVAC system including central station, and electrical work.
- NARA II Repair/Replace Cafeteria Equipment, 95% & 100% CD Set. 8 weeks for construction, including interior partitions, kitchen equipment, plumbing and electrical work, selective demolition, and mechanical system support.
