Transportation

For transportation authorities, moving hundreds of thousands of people each day while ensuring safety and eliminating obstacles is no small task. At APR, we apply extensive project control principles and solutions that keep things flowing smoothly and safely. Our expertise in conducting market studies, comprehensive risk analysis, identifying trends, creating reliable forecasts, and developing contingencies has aided our clients through incredible challenges — modernizing highways and bridges that have fallen into disrepair; and updating outdated airports, seaports, and rail systems leveraging technological and environmental innovations.

Airports

APR staff have developed reliable cost estimates and schedules that have withstood intense scrutiny for many of the largest capital development programs throughout the U.S. We have a vast amount of experience in commercial hub airport programs and capital improvement plans with complex phasing, unique construction, security restrictions, and significant numbers of stakeholder requirements with a multitude of contractors. We effectively collaborate with project sponsors, teams, and stakeholders, and advise them of the key factors that drive the program’s cost, time, and risk, in support of a manageable program baseline controls process that maximizes the use of allocated budgets. To date, our estimating, cost management, control and scheduling processes have saved clients over 10%, or $1.5B in total costs, allowing them to allocate funds to other projects and initiatives.
